Danielle left her corporate job two decades ago to break the cycle of chasing after achievements that kept her depleted and to start living a life she would not regret. During that juncture, she immersed herself in the practices of yoga and self-cultivating arts. These practices have taught her to honour her intuition, live life by a conscious endeavour, and aspire to serve and elevate others. It is still a work in progress.
After a decade of exploring various styles of yoga and earning several teaching certifications, she has found a practice that has kept her deeply engaged for a decade in Shadow Yoga (www.shadowyoga.com). The intelligence of the methodology and the depth and effectiveness of the practice have been essential to maturing her own skills as a practitioner and a teacher. Her teaching is deeply rooted in classical Hatha Yoga tradition while simultaneously reflecting influences from various ancient and contemporary energetic and movement practices. For a decade, she has been leading destination retreats curated for practice, relaxation, reflection and sharing community.
